SAVE THE DATE | THREE WAY CONFERENCES

Mark your calendars! Our Three Way Conferences – uniting students, teachers, and parents – are key opportunities to reflect on learning and set goals.

Dates to note: 12 November (Primary–Secondary), 11 February (Middle–Secondary), and 21 April (Primary). On each date, no normal lessons will take place for that section. Your involvement is crucial to strengthen communication and support each student’s growth.

PARENT REPRESENTATIVES ELECTIONS

During the upcoming parent meetings, families are kindly asked to elect their parent representatives. These representatives serve as the direct link for urgent communications from the school, usually sent through the Parents Representatives WhatsApp Group. Parents may and should create class groups to ensure school–parent–school information flows quickly, complementing the Friday email and newsletter. This role is key to keeping all families well informed.

NO EXTERNAL ANIMALS ALLOWED ON SCHOOL PREMISES

Please note that animals are not permitted on school grounds. Our dogs and cats roam freely, and we must prevent any unforeseen confrontations. We kindly ask for your cooperation to ensure everyone’s safety and well-being.

NO PHONES POLICY REMINDER

We remind all students and families that phones are not allowed at school. This policy ensures focus, safety, and a positive learning environment. Full details and guidelines are available here. Please review the policy and make sure students follow it from day one.

HEAD LICE PREVENTION

We ask all parents to remain vigilant and regularly check their children’s hair with a fine comb. We also recommend applying appropriate home treatments, using an electric comb, or visiting a specialized clinic if necessary. More information can be found here. Thank you for your cooperation in helping us address this situation quickly and effectively.

PRIMARY TEACHERS TRAINING IN SINGAPORE MATH

Our Primary teachers are currently undertaking specialized training in Singapore Math, a highly regarded approach to teaching mathematics that emphasizes problem-solving, conceptual understanding, and mastery. This professional development will enrich classroom practices, providing students with stronger foundations in reasoning and critical thinking. By investing in teacher training, the school reinforces its commitment to high-quality learning experiences in mathematics from the earliest years.

In addition, it is a very versatile ingredient, perfect for salads, soups, sauces, or as a side dish, bringing flavour, colour, and nutrition to any meal. Be sure to try it and enjoy all the benefits tomatoes have to offer!
