Global Issues on Display: 8th Grade Museum Exhibit | Questões Globais em Exposição: Exposição Museu do 8.º Ano

This term, our 8th grade Global Perspectives students undertook an exciting research project, exploring global issues that matter to them. Each student chose a topic of personal interest and conducted in-depth research, examining the causes and consequences of the issue, considering different perspectives, and ultimately formulating informed conclusions on possible solutions.

On Wednesday, 3rd December, the students proudly presented their findings to the school community in a museum-style exhibit. Visitors were invited to explore the displays, engage with the students, and gain insights into a wide range of pressing global topics.

The project not only allowed students to deepen their understanding of global challenges but also encouraged critical thinking, research skills, and effective communication. Congratulations to all our 8th graders for their dedication and creativity in bringing their research to life!

Neste período, os alunos do 8.º ano de Perspetivas Globais realizaram um projeto de investigação emocionante, explorando questões globais que lhes interessam. Cada aluno escolheu um tema de interesse pessoal e conduziu uma pesquisa aprofundada, analisando as causas e consequências da questão, considerando diferentes perspetivas e, finalmente, formulando conclusões informadas sobre possíveis soluções.

Na quarta-feira, 3 de dezembro, os alunos apresentaram orgulhosamente os resultados do seu trabalho à comunidade escolar num evento em estilo de museu. Os visitantes puderam explorar as exposições, interagir com os alunos e conhecer uma variedade de tópicos globais relevantes.

O projeto permitiu aos alunos não só aprofundar a compreensão dos desafios globais, mas também desenvolver competências de pensamento crítico, investigação e comunicação eficaz. Parabéns a todos os alunos do 8.º ano pelo empenho e criatividade na concretização das suas pesquisas!
