YEAR 2A PERFORMS SHADOW THEATRE INSPIRED BY “THE SEA GIRL” | 2.º A APRESENTA TEATRO DE SOMBRAS INSPIRADO EM “A MENINA DO MAR”
Year 2A prepared a very special performance for their Middle School peers: a delightful shadow theatre play, fully imagined and created by the students themselves. From writing the script to designing the puppets, everything was made from scratch, inspired by “The Sea Girl” by Sophia de Mello Breyner Andresen.
The performance, designed especially for the Middle School audience, stood out for its creativity, attention to detail, and the young performers’ enthusiasm. One of the most remarkable moments was seeing the international students deliver their lines in fluent Portuguese, the result of dedication, practice, and a strong will to shine.
The project was developed with the valuable support of Art teacher Joana Turkman, whose guidance was key in transforming the students’ ideas into a visually magical presentation.
A wonderful reminder that with imagination, teamwork, and the right support, even the youngest can create something truly memorable.
A turma do 2.º A preparou uma apresentação muito especial para os colegas do Middle: um encantador teatro de sombras, inteiramente concebido pelos próprios alunos. Desde o guião às marionetas, tudo foi criado do zero com criatividade, empenho e espírito de equipa, com base na obra “A Menina do Mar” de Sophia de Mello Breyner Andresen.
A encenação, pensada especialmente para acolher os colegas mais velhos, encantou pelo cuidado nos detalhes e pela entrega dos pequenos artistas. Um dos momentos mais marcantes foi ver os alunos estrangeiros a representar com segurança e emoção em português perfeito, fruto de treino, dedicação e grande força de vontade.
O projeto contou com o precioso apoio da professora de Artes, Joana Turkman, cuja orientação foi fundamental para transformar a criatividade dos alunos numa apresentação visualmente mágica.
Uma prova de que, com imaginação, colaboração e apoio certo, até os mais pequenos conseguem criar momentos verdadeiramente memoráveis.
