In the Conquistadores class, projects emerge directly from the children’s own ideas and interests, highlighting the importance of their active participation in learning processes.

During the first term, a small group of children proposed creating an original story. From this initiative, they collaboratively organised ideas, developed characters, defined events, and structured the narrative together. Later, they decided to transform their work into a book, taking on the roles of both authors and illustrators. The children were involved in every stage of the process, from writing the text to creating the illustrations, demonstrating creativity, cooperation, and strong engagement throughout the project.

In the second term, some children suggested developing a theatre performance. The group responsible for the book then proposed adapting the previously created story into a dramatic play, inviting their classmates to join the project. The idea was welcomed with enthusiasm, and the group began preparing the performance together.

This is how the theatre play “João e o Lobo” was born, later presented to families. The entire process — from selecting and adapting the story, to distributing roles, developing сценographic ideas, and rehearsing — was carried out with the active participation of the children, always supported and guided by adults when necessary.

Na Sala dos Conquistadores, desenvolvem-se projetos que nascem diretamente das ideias e interesses das próprias crianças, evidenciando a importância da sua participação ativa nos processos de aprendizagem.

No primeiro período, um pequeno grupo de crianças propôs a criação de uma história original. A partir dessa iniciativa, organizaram ideias, construíram personagens, definiram acontecimentos e estruturaram a narrativa em conjunto. Posteriormente, decidiram transformar essa produção num livro, assumindo o papel de autores e ilustradores. As crianças participaram em todas as fases do processo, desde a elaboração do texto até à criação das ilustrações, revelando criatividade, capacidade de cooperação e envolvimento no trabalho desenvolvido.

No segundo período, surgiu a proposta, por parte de algumas crianças, de realizar um teatro. As crianças responsáveis pela criação do livro sugeriram então adaptar a história anteriormente construída para uma apresentação dramática, convidando os restantes colegas a integrarem o projeto. O grupo acolheu a ideia com entusiasmo e, em conjunto, iniciou a preparação da peça.

Deste modo, nasceu o teatro “João e o Lobo”, apresentado posteriormente às famílias. Todo o processo — desde a escolha da história, adaptação do texto, distribuição de papéis, construção de ideias cénicas e ensaios — contou com a participação ativa das crianças, sempre com mediação e apoio dos adultos quando necessário.
