Sunflower Beginnings | O Começo do Girassol

In the Discoverers’ classroom, the very first assembly brought a bright idea: LIV suggested planting a sunflower as the group’s symbol. With curiosity and excitement, the children visited the garden, observed every detail, and captured the moment with drawings.

With Mara’s help, sunflower seeds were planted in a big pot, right in front of the classroom. Now begins a journey of growth! As the sunflower rises strong and tall, it will remind the children of unity, friendship, and the joy of learning together—nurturing patience, responsibility, and care along the way.

Na sala dos Descobridores, a primeira assembleia trouxe uma ideia luminosa: a LIV sugeriu plantar um girassol como símbolo do grupo. Com curiosidade e entusiasmo, as crianças foram até à horta, observaram cada detalhe e registaram o momento em desenhos.

Com a ajuda da Mara, chegaram as sementes de girassol, que foram plantadas num grande vaso à porta da sala. Assim começa uma nova aventura! À medida que o girassol crescer forte e bonito, vai recordar a todos a união, a amizade e a alegria de aprender juntos — desenvolvendo também paciência, responsabilidade e cuidado.
