Staff Appreciation Week: A Celebration of Community | Semana de Apreciação da Equipa: Uma Celebração da Comunidade

This week at Aprendizes, we came together to celebrate Staff Appreciation Week, a much-loved tradition that continues to grow year after year. It was a special moment in our school calendar dedicated to recognising, valuing, and celebrating the people who make our community what it is. Throughout the week, there was a shared sense of connection, gratitude, and togetherness that reflected the spirit of Aprendizes.

The Appreciation Box in the staff room remained a central part of the week, filled with kind messages and small treats shared among colleagues. These everyday expressions of gratitude added meaning to the week and highlighted the strength of the connections within our school community.

The week unfolded with a series of thoughtful gestures and moments of care. It began on Monday with raffle tickets waiting in the staff room Appreciation Box, bringing a touch of anticipation and joy to the start of the week. On Tuesday, the Heads prepared a special meal for the staff, followed by a raffle draw during the morning break, creating a warm moment of gathering and appreciation. On Wednesday, staff were invited to enjoy relaxing massage sessions, offering a well-deserved opportunity to pause and recharge. Thursday continued the celebrations with a special brunch and another raffle draw, adding to the sense of shared enjoyment across the community. The week concluded on Friday with a surprise organised by parents and students, a heartfelt gesture that beautifully reflected the appreciation felt throughout the school.

Esta semana celebrámos a Semana de Apreciação do Staff, uma tradição muito especial que continua a crescer ano após ano. Foi um momento marcante no nosso calendário escolar, dedicado a reconhecer, valorizar e celebrar as pessoas que fazem da nossa comunidade aquilo que ela é. Ao longo da semana, sentiu-se um forte espírito de ligação, gratidão e união que reflete a essência da Aprendizes.

A Caixa de Apreciação na sala dos colaboradores manteve-se como uma presença central ao longo da semana, preenchida com mensagens gentis e pequenos mimos partilhados entre colegas. Estas expressões diárias de gratidão deram ainda mais significado à semana e evidenciaram a força das ligações que existem dentro da nossa comunidade escolar.

A semana decorreu com vários gestos de cuidado e momentos de partilha. Começou na segunda-feira com os bilhetes do sorteio na Caixa de Apreciação na sala dos colaboradores, trazendo um toque de expectativa e alegria ao início da semana. Na terça-feira, as Heads prepararam uma refeição especial para a equipa, seguida de um sorteio durante a pausa da manhã, criando um momento caloroso de encontro e reconhecimento. Na quarta-feira, a equipa teve a oportunidade de desfrutar de sessões de massagens relaxantes, proporcionando uma pausa bem merecida para recuperar energias. Na quinta-feira, as celebrações continuaram com um brunch especial e mais um sorteio, reforçando o espírito de partilha e convívio. A semana terminou na sexta-feira com uma surpresa organizada por pais e alunos, um gesto sentido que refletiu de forma bonita a apreciação sentida por toda a comunidade escolar.
