Middle School Elections: new representatives join the Student Council | Eleições no Middle School: novos representantes juntam-se ao Student Council

Middle School has elected its representatives and alternates for the Aprendizes Student Council. Every class elects its own representative — a tradition that reflects one of our school's core principles: students have an active voice in school life.

The Student Council takes part in decisions relating to student life and the school in general. It contributes to the development of school policy in areas that can bring real benefit to students, and runs its own clubs, activities and initiatives, with its own budget to make them happen.

This involvement goes beyond the Student Council. Middle School representatives also take part in the PTSO (Parents, Teachers, Students Organisation), joining families and teachers in a range of activities and meetings.

This is how we understand community at Aprendizes: students, families and staff, all playing an active part in shaping the school.

O Middle School elegeu os seus representantes e suplentes para o Student Council da Aprendizes. Cada turma escolhe o seu representante — uma tradição que reflete um dos princípios centrais da nossa escola: os estudantes têm voz ativa na vida escolar.

O Student Council participa nas decisões sobre a vida estudantil e sobre a escola em geral. Contribui para o desenvolvimento de políticas em áreas com impacto direto nos estudantes, e desenvolve os seus próprios clubes, atividades e iniciativas, com orçamento próprio para as concretizar.

Esta participação não fica pelo Student Council. Os representantes do Middle School integram também o PTSO (Parents, Teachers, Students Organisation), participando em diversas atividades e reuniões ao lado de famílias e professores.

É assim que entendemos a comunidade na Aprendizes: estudantes, famílias e staff, todos com um papel ativo na construção da escola.
