Grade 1A Explores the Under of the Ocean | 1A Explora as Maravilhas da Profundeza do Oceano

During the first term, our grade 1A students embarked on an exciting project called Under the Ocean. Through this project, students explored the fascinating world of deep-sea animals, learning about their unique characteristics and behaviors.

The students investigated questions such as how dolphins breathe, why some animals change color, how fish respire, and why bubbles appear on the surface of the sea. This hands-on research encouraged curiosity, observation, and critical thinking.

To bring their learning to life, students transformed ordinary boxes into underwater worlds, combining creativity with the knowledge they had gathered - parents joined in on the fun! Also, the students created themed ornaments that were used to create an Under the Ocean-themed Christmas tree.

This project was a wonderful opportunity for students to combine science, creativity, and family engagement, fostering a love of learning and exploration from an early age.

Durante o primeiro período, os alunos do 1A participaram num projeto entusiasmante chamado Under the Ocean. Através deste projeto, os alunos exploraram o fascinante mundo dos animais das profundezas do mar, aprendendo sobre as suas características e comportamentos únicos.

Os alunos investigaram questões como: como respiram os golfinhos, porque alguns animais mudam de cor, como respiram os peixes e porque surgem bolhas na superfície do mar. Esta investigação prática incentivou a curiosidade, a observação e o pensamento crítico.

Para dar vida à sua aprendizagem, os alunos transformaram caixas em verdadeiros fundos do mar, combinando criatividade com o conhecimento adquirido - as famílias também participaram! Também, criaram peças para decorarem uma árvore de Natal com o tema Under the Ocean.

Este projeto foi uma excelente oportunidade para os alunos combinarem ciência, criatividade e envolvimento familiar, fomentando o gosto pela aprendizagem e pela exploração desde cedo.
