Global Perspectives Market Fuels Student Creativity and Action | Mercado de Global Perspectives Alimenta a Criatividade e Ação dos Alunos
The Global Perspectives Market was an initiative created by 7th-grade students to raise funds for their Global Perspectives projects. As part of the Global Perspectives subject, students worked in groups to identify real-world problems they wanted to address. After researching their chosen issues, each group developed a practical solution and designed an action plan to put their ideas into practice.
To successfully carry out many of these actions, the students needed financial support. The Global Perspectives Market was therefore organised as a fundraising event, giving students the opportunity to present and sell a variety of products while working together towards their project goals.
Last week, during the Global Perspectives Summit, the different groups shared the outcomes of their projects with the school community. Students presented the actions they implemented, the challenges they faced, and the positive impact their initiatives had. The summit was a valuable opportunity to celebrate the students’ creativity, collaboration, and commitment to making a difference.
O Mercado de Global Perspectives foi uma iniciativa criada pelos alunos do 7.º ano com o objetivo de angariar fundos para os seus projetos de Global Perspectives. No âmbito da disciplina de Global Perspectives, os alunos trabalharam em grupos para identificar problemas do mundo real que gostariam de resolver. Após pesquisarem os temas escolhidos, cada grupo desenvolveu uma solução prática e definiu um plano de ação para colocar as suas ideias em prática.
Para conseguirem implementar muitas destas ações, os alunos necessitaram de apoio financeiro. Assim, foi organizado o Mercado de Global Perspectives, um evento de angariação de fundos que permitiu aos alunos apresentar e vender diversos produtos, enquanto trabalhavam em conjunto para alcançar os objetivos dos seus projetos.
Na semana passada, durante o Global Perspectives Summit, os diferentes grupos apresentaram os resultados das suas ações à comunidade escolar. Os alunos partilharam as iniciativas que desenvolveram, os desafios que enfrentaram e o impacto positivo dos seus projetos. O summit foi uma excelente oportunidade para celebrar a criatividade, a colaboração e o empenho dos alunos em fazer a diferença.
