Gender equality talk promotes awareness at school | Entrevista sobre igualdade de género promove reflexão na escola

On April 9th, students and parents gathered at school from 4:15 to 5:00 for an online interview with Maíra Martins, a specialist in Gender Equality in education. The initiative, led by Lina, Sofia, and Mazie from class 6B, was part of their Global Perspectives project. The event aimed to raise awareness about the importance of gender equality in education. The speaker discussed key issues such as empowerment, inclusion, and equal opportunities. The session was well received by the school community and sparked thoughtful discussions on how to promote fairness in learning environments.

No dia 9 de abril, alunos e pais reuniram-se na escola das 16h15 às 17h para assistir a uma entrevista online com Maíra Martins, especialista em Igualdade de Género na educação. A iniciativa, organizada por Lina, Sofia e Mazie do 6.º B, integrou o projeto Global Perspectives. O objetivo foi sensibilizar a comunidade educativa para a importância da igualdade de género no contexto escolar. A convidada abordou temas como empoderamento, inclusão e igualdade de oportunidades. A sessão foi bem acolhida e gerou reflexões importantes entre os participantes.
