Language Day filled Aprendizes with activities, celebrating the linguistic diversity that is part of our community.
The day opened with music: the 8th Grade band played "La Vie en Rose" on the piano at the school entrance. Throughout the day, a language quiz ran in Middle School and in the library, with students from different years taking part.
During break time, it was time for language games in the playground, organised by Middle School for our Primary students.
At the BioMarket, Year 10 Portuguese as a Second Language students sold their national dishes and specialities, with recipes written in Portuguese, English and their own mother tongue.
Reception got a new look, with flags and bunting made by the students themselves, and Primary students displayed their artwork on the theme.
A day to celebrate the languages spoken, every day, within Aprendizes.

O dia abriu com música: a banda do 8º ano tocou "La Vie en Rose" ao piano, à entrada da escola. Ao longo do dia, decorreu um quiz de línguas no Middle School e na biblioteca, com a participação de estudantes de vários anos.
Durante o intervalo, foi a vez dos jogos de línguas no recreio, organizados pelo Middle School para os estudantes da primária.
No BioMarket, os estudantes de Português como segunda língua do 10º ano venderam os seus pratos e especialidades nacionais, com as receitas escritas em português, inglês e na respetiva língua materna.
A receção ganhou um novo visual, com bandeiras e bunting feitos pelos próprios estudantes, e a primária expôs os seus trabalhos artísticos sobre o tema.
Um dia para celebrar as línguas que se falam, todos os dias, dentro da Aprendizes.
