Creativity on Display: Middle School Art Exhibition | Criatividade em Destaque: Exposição de Arte do Middle
Aprendizes came alive with creativity last week during the Middle School Art Exhibition, where students from 5th through 8th grade displayed the fruits of their artistic journey this school year. The exhibition brought together drawings, experiments, and ideas that had grown slowly in the studio, each piece a testament to curiosity, persistence, and the courage to try, fail, and try again.
Visitors were greeted by a vibrant range of works, offering glimpses into how students see and interpret the world. From playful sketches to thoughtful compositions, the exhibition celebrated the imagination of our young artists and their ability to learn through making.
The opening on Monday, 16 March featured a special performance by the Middle School Choir, setting a joyful tone for the week. Over the course of the exhibition, the school community had the chance to explore the students’ creativity, reflecting on the stories and ideas that shaped each piece.
The Art Exhibition was a reminder of the extraordinary talent and inventiveness of our Middle School students—a true celebration of learning, making, and imagining.
Na semana passada, a Escola Aprendizes encheu-se de criatividade com a Exposição de Arte do Middle, onde os alunos do 5.º ao 8.º ano mostraram o resultado do seu percurso artístico ao longo do ano letivo. A exposição reuniu desenhos, experiências e ideias que foram crescendo lentamente no atelier, cada obra refletindo curiosidade, persistência e coragem para tentar, falhar e tentar novamente.
Os visitantes puderam apreciar uma diversidade vibrante de trabalhos, que oferecem uma perspetiva de como os alunos percebem e interpretam o mundo. Desde esboços divertidos a composições pensadas, a exposição celebrou a imaginação dos nossos jovens artistas e a sua capacidade de aprender fazendo.
A inauguração, na segunda-feira, 16 de março, contou com uma atuação especial do Coro do Middle, criando um ambiente alegre para o início da semana. Durante a exposição, a comunidade escolar teve a oportunidade de explorar a criatividade dos alunos e refletir sobre as histórias e ideias que inspiraram cada obra.
A Exposição de Arte foi um lembrete do talento e da inventividade extraordinários dos nossos alunos do Middle — uma verdadeira celebração da aprendizagem, da criação e da imaginação.
